supporting OUR public services & community-benefiting organisations

**If you're looking for sessions for yourself or your family please click here to read about Personal Flow Therapy instead →

Council welfare teams, family support, early help, care homes and other community groups carry a lot, day in, day out. We want to support you, so you can keep bettering our community.

Many of the people you support, and your staff, face barriers to gym-based exercise: mobility issues, transport, social anxiety, or money worries. A standard gym scheme often isn’t realistic for them. They’re part of a demographic we call MOSAIC (Marginalised, Overworked, Survivors, Allies in Community): people who’ve been let down by spaces that were never built with them in mind.

So we built Flow Therapy to come to them, wherever they are and whenever suits, because we believe good wellbeing support shouldn’t be out of reach for the people who need it most.

Whether you're a Council-run team or another community-benefiting organisation, you may qualify for a discount for the people you support, your own staff, or both.

who is this for

A. For the people you support, 1:1 sessions (home visits), or group workouts and workshops (at your venue), are often a good fit for those who are:

Managing chronic pain or joint conditions

  Living with limited mobility

Anxious or lacking confidence in a gym environment

Managing a long-term condition where structured movement is recommended, but access is the barrier

Unable to commit to regular travel due to work, caring responsibilities or a busy schedules

Part of the MOSAIC demographic (Marginalised, Overworked, Survivors, Allies in Community) - people who've felt overlooked in spaces that weren't built for their needs

B. For your own staff discounted 1:1 sessions (home visits), or group workshops (at your venue) as team activities, are a good fit for organisations which:

Want to reduce sick days linked to stress or physical strain

Want to improve staff retention in tough, demanding roles

Want to build energy and resilience for frontline, caring, or high-pressure work

Want to improve wellness while working unpredictable shift rotas

Want to help staff manage stress or burnout from challenging jobs

stress & Relaxation therapy (a combined approach)

Reactive (immediate) support: practical nervous system regulation tools to reduce stress, reset and achieve a sense of calmness.

For the people you support:

  • Anxiety, low mood, or constant stress affecting daily life
  • Poor sleep, tension, overwhelm or feeling 'on edge' with no clear cause
  • Carers or overworked parents with zero time to switch off

For your team:

  • Frontline or caring work that leaves little time to switch off
  • Stress and burnout building in high-pressure roles

A session could look like: Breathing techniques, Qi Gong calming exercises (an energy-cultivation practice closely related to Chinese martial arts, it's beginner-friendly too), and other research-based ways to shift how the mind reacts to stress. Depending on what the clients' need, we won't necessary engage in just talking.

Available as a group workshop for your team or the people you support, or 1:1 as home visits.

The evidence: Research shows a combined-therapy approach can lower stress within a single session, more than talking therapy alone. Click here to read the full science →

massage therapy

Thai (slow and meditative) or Sports (don't be fooled by the 'sports' label, it simply means deep and targeted) massage for tension, mobility and recovery.

For the people you support:

  • Aches and tightness from limited movement, injury or surgery scars (with GP referral/clearance)
  • Needing time to properly relax and unwind

For your team:

  • Physical strain from lifting, long shifts, or desk work
  • Tension and headaches from stressful roles

A session looks like: Thai massage stretches and loosens your body while sports massage works on specific sore or tight areas.

Available as taster sessions (such as back-to-back mini massages) at your venue, or as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Massage is shown to ease muscle soreness, lower stress, improve blood circulation to help heal injuries, reduce sweeling, improve flexibility and range of motion, improve your immunity system, relieve anxiety, and improve sleep.

exercise referrals & functional exercising

Functional exercises (simple exercising that mimics everyday tasks, like standing up, bending or reaching) built around normal age-related wear and tear, a condition, injury, or tailored around GP's referral. This service is designed to preserve or improve physical independence

For the people you support:

  • Balance concerns or falling risk due to muscle weakness
  • Limited mobility, or recovering from injury or surgery
  • Referred by a GP for exercise but unable to travel to a gym-based scheme

For your team:

  • Back or other muscular strain from physical work or prolonged desk-work sitting
  • Staff returning to work after an injury
  • Simply wanting to exercise to maintain physical independence

A session looks like: We look at how you move day-to-day, then build simple exercises to improve your balance, strength, and comfort.

Available as group sessions at your venue with 1:1 alongside for anyone who needs individual attention, or 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Functional exercising is shown to reduce injury risk and significantly improve muscle balance and movement habits.

personal fitness training

For whoever wants to get healthier. This isn't just for athletes: most of our clients have no experience with fitness and have never trained before, or haven't in years.

For the people you support:

  • New to exercise, or returning after years away
  • Anxious or intimidated by fitness fads and 'gym culture' (hygiene concerns, privacy, commute time, waiting for equipment, 'locker room time', financial constraints,)
  • Wanting to feel stronger and more independent

For your team:

  • Long or irregular shifts that rule out typical gym-going lifestyle
  • Team or activity days where everyone can join in at their own level

A session looks like: A plan built where each person is at now: maybe they could benefit from bodyweight training, resistance work, or start with low-impact cardio, or maybe simple movement, gentle strength work at a pace that's sustainable. We'll ease them into it to ensure long term adherence.

Available as group classes or activity days at your venue, or as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Regular fitness training improves cardiovascular health, mood, and cognitive function, and reduces long-term health risks. Click here to read the full science →

flow mapping

Proactive (long-term) support: for helping clients reconnect to the natural rhythm their body's been trying to signal all along.

For the people you support:

  • Chaotic or inconsistent routines that makes them feel exhausted with 'no energy for anything else'
  • Parents or carers with unpredictable schedules

For your team:

  • Shift workers and demanding roles
  • Staff who feel they're 'catching up' all the time

A session looks like: We look at when energy is high and low, then build a routine that works WITH your day instead of fighting against the tide.

Available as 1:1, as home visits only (because it's built around one's own rhythm).

The evidence: Working with your body's natural energy patterns is linked to increased resilience, better emotional regulation, improved relationship dynamics, better sleep and less long-term stress.

nutrition plans and body fuelling advice

Food advice and plans that actually make sense for people's real lives.

For the people you support:

  • Overwhelmed by conflicting food advice
  • Tight budgets, or limited time or skills to cook
  • Wanting advice that respects culture or faith (halal, kosher,  vegetarian by belief, etc.)
  • Managing a diagnosed condition (e.g. diabetes) alongside your GP's guidance

For your team:

  • Shift workers eating on the run
  • Staff running low on energy who want simple, realistic habits

A session looks like: We look at day-to-day life and provide simple, realistic food advice around food people already enjoy - as talks and advice sessions, a written plan, or both.

Available as group workshop or class at your venue, or as 1:1 home visits (advice, plan or both).

The evidence: With the right support to help you stick with it or adjust as needed, diet plans work best when they fit around food you actually enjoy. Click here to read the full science →
