stress & Relaxation therapy (a combined approach)

Reactive (immediate) support, for when you know you need help but don't know what kind.

Who it's for:

  • Anxiety, burnout, or feeling constantly "on edge"
  • Physical tension, poor sleep, or headaches with no clear cause
  • Carers or overworked parents with zero time to switch off
  • Feeling unwelcome or judged in typical wellness spaces — if that's you, you're part of a demographic we call MOSAIC (Marginalised, Overworked, Survivors, or Allies in Community) and we get it, because we've been there too, which is exactly why we do things differently here
  • Talking alone hasn't fully helped

A session could look like: Breathing techniques, Qi Gong calming exercises (an energy-cultivation practice closely related to Chinese martial arts, it's beginner-friendly AND quite fun too), and other research-based simple ways to shift how your mind reacts to stress. Depending on what you need, we won't necessary engage in just talking therapy.

Available as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Research shows a combined-therapy approach can lower stress within a single session, more than talking therapy alone. Click here to read the full science →

"Out of everything we tried, Qi Gong will stay with me forever ...I feel so carefree whenever I do it...and it's so easy, I feel like Jackie chan" Becky H, 33 years old

massage therapy

For bodies worn down by daily life, or pushed hard by exercise.

Who it's for:

  • Tight shoulders, neck pain, headaches from sitting all day
  • Sore muscles from sport, training or job
  • Throbbing aches and tightness, or chronic pain flare-ups (e.g. from old surgery/accident scars or joint pain)
  • Wanting to properly relax and unwind, without judgement about what your body had to survive

A session looks like: Thai massage stretches and loosens your body while sports massage works on specific sore or tight areas.

Available as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Massage is shown to ease muscle soreness, lower stress, improve blood circulation to help heal injuries, reduce sweeling, improve flexibility and range of motion, improve your immunity system, relieve anxiety, and improve sleep.

"After the massage, it felt like my legs could breathe again...I feel so much lighter too, my shoulder doesn't feel so stiff anymore either"  Karen, 67 years old

exercise referrals & functional exercising

Exercise Referrals & Functional Exercising for specific conditions and needs.

For improving your daily quality of life. Functional exercises help you build a solid foundation of basic strength, balance, and core stability...whether that's needed because of  condition, normal age-related wear and tear, an injury, or  GP referral, the goal being to help you maintain your independence.

Who it's for:

  • Back pain, joint issues, balance issues or a fear of falling (e.g climbing stairs or bending down)
  • Osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, or recovering from injury/surgery and your GP has referred you for exercise
  • Have a health condition and want to exercise safely in the privacy of your home but still want to benefit from personal training expertise (we'll come to you)
  • A busy family life and want to ensure you can carry groceries, lift heavy boxes and play with your children, grandchildren and niblings as you age

A session looks like: We look at how you move day-to-day, then build simple exercises to improve your balance, strength, and comfort. All at your home at whatever time works best for you.

Available as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Functional exercising is shown to reduce injury risk and significantly improve muscle balance and movement habits.

"I thought I needed back surgery. Turns out I was just weak as hell! I can do squats and push ups now...I did a few squats just waiting for the microwave yesterday actually...if you told me last year I would do something like this, I would say you're taking the mick!" Sarah, 63 years old

personal fitness training

Personal Fitness Training for whoever wants to get healthier.

This isn't just for athletes: most of our clients have never trained before, or haven't in years.

Who it's for:

  • Feeling tired, run-down or simply want to feel stronger
  • Want to lose/gain weight (some like only training periodically for a summer reveal, then taking a break again)
  • New to exercise, or getting back into it after years away
  • Menopause, perimenopause, or andropause (andropause is the male-equivalent menopausal changes)
  • Recently retired and not sure how to adapt to or where to even start your new lifestyle
  • Feeling too intimidated by typical gyms or "fitness culture" to try on your own
  • Part of MOSAIC demographic (Marginalised, Overworked, Survivors, Allies In Community) and want to join a space build for you and those like you

A session looks like: We build a programme around where you're at. It could be bodyweight training, resistance work, or low-impact cardio, or maybe simple movement, gentle strength work to ease you into it. Eitherway, it will be at a pace that's sustainable for where you're at now.

Available as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Regular fitness training improves cardiovascular health, mood, and cognitive function, and reduces long-term health risks. Click here to read the full science →

"I had a bike accident a few years ago, I'm now in a wheelchair and I guess I was angry for a very long time because I haven't taken care of myself like I used to, I know that. Is not that I didn't try though, but many personal trainers would look at my circumstances and just didn't want to get involved I guess. My GP cleared me to exercise a long time ago but I was stuck like the trainers made things awkward because they didn't know what to do with me or we couldn't use the machines they would usually use with other clients. Vology took me on and taught me how to get in shape and work with my condition." Muhammad, 48 years old

flow mapping

Proactive (long-term) support for reconnecting to the natural rhythm your body's been trying to signal all along.

Who it's for:

  • Life dictated by everyone else's schedule but your own
  • New parents, single parents, or carers with no routine to speak of
  • Tried every plan and still feel like you're failing
  • Want progress that fits your life and makes you feel good, not exhausted all the time

A session looks like: We look at when you have energy and when you don't (and why) and then build a routine that works WITH your day instead of against it.

Available as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: Working with your body's natural energy patterns is linked to increased resilience, better emotional regulation, improved relationship dynamics, better sleep and less long-term stress.

"I had another proper burnout due to my toxic job, which I still can't leave yet... so I decided to do what I can...to spend more time on myself. I haven't worked out in years and I binge eat too so I wasn't even sure where to start and what I actually want to achieve. Vology helped me figure things out. I can't spend time prepping, going to the gym, working out, coming back and everything, takes too long on top of everything else...so the trainer does everything and he comes directly to me and he organises our sessions depending on how much time I have that day. Best thing is that if I decide I am too stressed that day and I want some talking therapy or a massage instead, I don't lose my money! We just switch things around, because it's still Vology..." Agnieszka, 41 years old

nutrition plans and body fuelling advice

Food advice and plans that actually makes sense for your life.

Who it's for:

  • Overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice online
  • Worried about how your food habits will affect your health long-term
  • Looking to improve your fitness workouts
  • Wanting support that respects your culture or faith (halal, kosher,  vegetarian by belief, etc.)
  • Managing a diagnosed condition (e.g. diabetes) alongside your GP's guidance
  • Running on empty, not knowing what's lacking
  • Wanting to lose/gain weight, or just feel stronger overall

Two ways a session can look like (you can do both!):

* Nutritional Advice sessions: we look at your day-to-day life and talk through simple, realistic food changes. We'll work around food that you already enjoy so the changes can stick.

* Nutrition Plan: a written, personalised plan of recommendations built around your routine, goals and tastes. Yours to keep and follow at your own pace.

Available as 1:1 home visits.

The evidence: With the right support to help you stick with it or adjust as needed, diet plans work best when they fit around food you actually enjoy. Click here to read the full science →

"My parents taught me to eat whatever was in the house and clear the plate with no fuss...It actually took a lot of detangling and talking therapy to realise my food habits were an echo of my childhood. I'm in my 50s now and I guess it's never to late to do something good for yourself." Priyanka, 54 years old
